Relocation of Cobalt Crystallizer Project

LPS and Fire Ring Main Pipe Condition Survey

Conduct condition survey of the existing LPS and Fire Ring Main Piping System. The outcome of the surveys was to indicate to the Client areas of concern (for immediate action or plan for next outage) of the piping system. After the surveys had been completed, As Build drawings were prepared with the use of a 3D scanner (Above ground) and GPR scanning (Below ground).

Replacement of (x3) Cobalt Treatment Reactor Tank


The mechanical integrity of the Cobalt Treatment Reactor Tanks had deteriorated over the years of operation. Our scope of work was to conduct the engineering design works to replace the tanks. The tank design was done according to API 650. In addition to replacing the tanks, the piping work was required to be replaced due to its current condition.

Replacement Brine Tower Access Catladder with Tower Staircase

To access the Brine Tower, A Catladders was installed for this purpose. During a routine inspection, one of the team members got injured and couldn’t come down using the catladder. To get the injured team member was difficult considering that a stretcher had to be used. A HAZOP was done to improve the accessibility to the tower. Our scope of work was to conduct the design of a new access staircase ease access to the Brine Tower.
